I can't wait until the 2008 Presidential Elections are over. It's not because I'm a George W. Bush hater and I'm just itching for his term to end, but because I'm sick of Hillary Clinton. Wait, what? How could I be sick of Hillary? Am I not a woman? Shouldn't women all want to vote for Hillary simply because she's a woman too?
Are you kidding me?
Since when are presidential elections based on gender? Give me a break! Hillary having a vagina does not enable her to run the country better than a man. That has nothing to do with it. If I decide to vote for a candidate, it won't be that I vote for Hillary because she's a woman, Obama because he's black, Romney because he's a Mormon, or any ridiculous reason like that. My decisions about who I will vote for for the Presidency of the United States will be based on that person's policies, consistency, experience and all those other traits that actually pertain to being the next president. If those qualities happen to lay within a woman, Jew, black person, whatever - so be it. If Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was running, I would probably vote for her. And guess what? She's black and a woman!
What really amused me, however, was a statement Hillary's campaign team made about her being "ganged up on" by the men. Uhhhh, excuse me? Did I miss something? Hillary Clinton has failed to formulate an actual political platform during this entire campaign for the primary elections. Instead she's been focusing on how great she is because she's female. Yet she's crying about the other men in the race and saying they are "ganging up" on her? Give me a break! Boohoo, Hillary. If you want me to support you solely based on your woman power, you're going to have to do a lot better than that.

that's the unfortunate thing about stereotypes and minorities. if you do vote for 'em, it must be because you like the fact they're black, female, etc.
on the flip-side of the coin, if you DON'T vote for them, it's because you're sexist, racist, etc.
people have a hard time seeing others as just people.
